Justin Crawford Evaluated After Phillies Rookie Season

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Justin Crawford finished his rookie season hitting .350 with runners in scoring position, though his defense and an 82 wRC+ raised questions. With a hefty payroll decision on Brandon Marsh and potential shifts for Trea Turner, the Phillies face tough outfield choices. Crawford is not expected to be a major impact player, leaving the team weighing platoon options and free agent targets like Seiya Suzuki and Randy Arozarena ahead of the 2027 season.
