Edmundo Sosa Evaluated After Solid Utility Role in 2026

Edmundo Sosa solidified his role as the Philadelphia Phillies' primary utility player in 2026, logging over 250 plate appearances for the fourth straight season. Across 250 PA, he slashed .247/.283/.429 with 9 home runs, 44 RBIs, and an 89 wRC+. While offering stellar defensive versatility—including 32 starts in left field—his low walk rate and inconsistent offensive production earned him a C+ report card grade as he enters potential starting consideration.
