Mikel Brown Jr. Set For Preseason Debut After Left Ankle Injury

Brooklyn Nets rookie Mikel Brown Jr. is set for his highly anticipated preseason debut against the Miami Heat after missing the first three games due to a left ankle injury suffered in practice. The No. 6 overall pick went through a morning scrimmage and full 5-on-5 work over the weekend. Brown expressed excitement about returning to action in his home state of Florida, though he will operate under a minutes limit as the Nets prepare for their regular-season opener.
