Nestor German Faces Key 40-Man Roster Decision with Orioles

Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Nestor German posted a 4.08 ERA and 1.325 WHIP in 24 games for Triple-A Norfolk in 2026. The 23-year-old right-hander struck out over a batter per inning and allowed only 10 home runs in 117 frames. Drafted in the 11th round in 2023 out of Seattle University, German is now eligible for the Rule 5 draft, forcing Baltimore to decide whether to add him to their 40-man roster this offseason.
