Michael Penix Jr. Suffers Rib Injury Late in OT Loss to Ravens

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffered a rib injury after taking a big hit on a sack late in the fourth quarter of a 30-23 overtime loss to the Ravens. Before leaving, Penix completed 19 of 32 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. He will undergo imaging to determine his status for Week 6 against the Bears, though he does not expect the issue to be long-term after attempting to return in overtime.
