Kirk Cousins Maintains Starting Job Despite Late Benched Appearance

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 28 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown in a 45-17 loss to the Patriots before giving way to rookie Fernando Mendoza in garbage time. Head coach Klint Kubiak confirmed Cousins remains the starter, though the veteran has a 12:4 TD:INT ratio as the team dropped two straight after a 3-0 start.
