Chris Tanev Exits Win Over Colorado with Injury

Chris Tanev left the game in the first period and did not return during the Toronto Maple Leafs' 6-3 victory against the Colorado Avalanche. Head coach Jim Hiller had no immediate update on his status following the contest. Teammates and staff noted his absence as a significant blow to the defense, leaving the blue line to bend but not break in his absence as further evaluation is expected over the coming days.
