Mitch Marner Nets Overtime Winner to Lift Golden Knights Past Kings

Mitch Marner scored a power-play goal in overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights to a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. Marner skated from near the blue line into the high slot and scored just seven seconds into a Kings tripping penalty at 2:41 of overtime. The clutch goal capped a two-point night for Marner and pushed Vegas to a 5-1-0 start on a night when the franchise honored its inaugural 2017-18 team.
