José Ramírez Hits Historic Home Run to Send Guardians to ALCS

José Ramírez lifted the Cleveland Guardians to a 2-0 Game 5 victory over the Chicago White Sox, completing a historic 0-2 ALDS comeback. Ramírez hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning on a 78-mph curveball just 0.78 feet off the ground—the lowest pitch hit for a postseason homer since 2008. The victory sends the Guardians to their second ALCS in three years to face the Tampa Bay Rays starting Monday.
