Shedeur Sanders Opens Up on Public Image as Backup Role Faces Challenge

Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Shedeur Sanders addressed public perception in a recent Cosmopolitan interview, expressing a desire for people to better understand him as a human being. The 2025 fifth-round pick, who threw for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in eight games as a rookie, has attempted just one pass this season behind starter Deshaun Watson. Sanders now faces competition for the No. 2 role from Dillon Gabriel, who was designated to return from injured reserve.
