Bones Hyland Explodes for 23 Points and Five Triples in Start

Bones Hyland led Minnesota with 23 points (6-9 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and three steals over 21 minutes in Saturday's 125-124 preseason win over the Heat. Inserted into the starting lineup due to the absences of Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball, Hyland capitalized on the opportunity. He could see an increased role this season with Donte DiVincenzo sidelined for most, if not all, of the 2026-27 campaign.
