VJ Edgecombe Scores 19 Points with Four Steals in Preseason Action

Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe notched 19 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, and four steals across 26 minutes in Saturday's 144-106 preseason loss to Boston. With Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid resting, Edgecombe capitalized on increased usage, connecting with Tyrese Maxey on transition plays and driving past Celtics defenders. He previously made headlines stating a Bahamian Olympic medal would mean more than an NBA title.
