Jayden Struble Traded by Montreal Canadiens to Nashville Predators

The Montreal Canadiens traded defenseman Jayden Struble to the Nashville Predators for a second-round pick amid a left-side defensive logjam. Following Struble's departure, attention turns to other potential Canadiens trade candidates like Kirby Dach, who has one assist in four games and is a pending unrestricted free agent for the 2026-27 season, and goaltender Samuel Montembeault, who faces a 10-to-14 day absence with an injury.
