Jacob Fowler Secures 30-Save Shutout in Canadiens' Shootout Win

Jacob Fowler earned a stellar 30-save shutout and stopped Nate Danielson in the sixth round of the shootout to lift the Montreal Canadiens over the Detroit Red Wings 1-0, snapping a three-game losing streak. Fowler was previously tapped to guard the crease after being called up from AHL Laval following Sam Montembeault's lower-body injury, bouncing back strongly from a previous 5-2 loss to Nashville where he allowed three goals.
