Alexis Lafreniere Scores Power-Play Goal in Rangers' Loss to Capitals

New York Rangers winger Alexis Lafreniere scored his team's lone goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Washington Capitals. Lafreniere opened the scoring on a first-period power play, marking his third consecutive goal for New York following a four-point hat trick earlier in the week. The winger is off to a strong start this season, accumulating five points (three goals, two assists) and 11 shots on goal through his first five contests.
