Joey Porter Jr. Misses Game Due to Sudden Illness

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. unexpectedly missed Thursday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a sudden illness. The sudden absence generated speculation regarding his long-term contract situation following his prior trade from Pittsburgh. However, analysts emphasize that sitting out does not benefit Porter as the Cowboys retain franchise tag leverage for future seasons.
