William Trudeau Placed on Injured Reserve by Predators

The Nashville Predators have placed 23-year-old defenseman William Trudeau on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, labeling him week-to-week. Trudeau exited Thursday's game against the Montreal Canadiens after logging just 4:39 of ice time. Originally drafted 113th overall by Montreal in 2021, Trudeau was claimed off waivers from the New York Rangers prior to the season and made his NHL debut on October 3.
