Carlton Davis III Ruled Out For Patriots Against Raiders

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel announced that starting cornerback Carlton Davis III will miss Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a neck injury. Davis stayed sidelined throughout weekly preparations after playing all 59 defensive snaps last week against Buffalo. His absence leaves the Patriots severely shorthanded in the secondary alongside fellow cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez, Karon Prunty, and Channing Canada.
