Frank Nazar Suspended Two Games for Illegal Check to the Head

Chicago Blackhawks forward Frank Nazar has been suspended for two games without pay by the NHL Department of Player Safety for an illegal check to the head of New York Islanders forward Bo Horvat. Nazar was assessed a match penalty late in Thursday's game and will forfeit $68,041 under the CBA. He is set to miss Saturday's game against Carolina and Tuesday's contest against Pittsburgh, further thinning Chicago's options at center depth.
