Michael Brandsegg-Nygård Seeking First NHL Goal Ahead of Kraken Matchup

Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Brandsegg-Nygård enters Friday's game against the Seattle Kraken still searching for his first NHL goal after leading Detroit with six shots in a 3-2 loss to Winnipeg. Head coach Todd McLellan expressed confidence, noting it is only a matter of time and the team wants to take the pressure off the young forward. Brandsegg-Nygård earned a roster spot out of camp and will be looked upon to play a bigger role amid current injuries to several veterans.
