Steven Stamkos Records Two Assists In 5-2 Comeback Win

Steven Stamkos chipped in two assists to help power the Nashville Predators to a 5-2 comeback victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night. Stamkos drew a crucial neutral-zone tripping penalty from Mike Matheson late in the game, leading directly to Roman Josi and Ryan O'Reilly combining for the go-ahead power-play goal with 3:16 remaining. The veteran forward's playmaking helped Nashville erase a 2-0 deficit and snap Montreal's five-game head-to-head win streak.
