Carter Yakemchuk Breaks Late Tie to Push Senators Past Flyers 2-1

Carter Yakemchuk broke a late tie with a power-play one-timer with 6:59 remaining in the third period, lifting the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 home-opener victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday. Receiving a pass from Claude Giroux, Yakemchuk blasted the game-winner past Joseph Woll to help Ottawa move to 3-1-0.
