Jakob Marsee Scheduled for UCL Surgery with Internal Brace

Miami Marlins outfielder Jakob Marsee is scheduled to undergo UCL repair surgery with an internal brace on his left elbow. Marsee played through elbow soreness down the stretch of the regular season and received the recommendation from Dr. Keith Meister. Expected to need six months of recovery, his availability for Opening Day is in doubt. He finished the season slashing .231/.348/.359 with 11 home runs and 23 stolen bases for Miami.
