Aydar Suniev Recalled by Calgary Flames After Strong Preseason

The Calgary Flames have recalled 21-year-old forward Aydar Suniev from the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers along with Jonathan Costagna. Suniev earned the NHL call-up following an impressive preseason where he scored three goals in two games, adding another in the rookie NextGen Game. After recording one assist in two AHL games to begin the regular season, Suniev now has an opportunity to potentially make his regular-season NHL debut and provide forward depth for the Flames.
