Tyler Smith Activated From IR to Make Season Debut Against Buccaneers

Dallas Cowboys All-Pro left guard Tyler Smith was officially activated from injured reserve and named active for Thursday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Smith missed the first four games of the 2026 season after undergoing surgery on Sept. 8 to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb. Following a full week of practice, Smith reclaims his starting spot on the offensive line, while running back Emari Demercado was waived to open roster space.
