Bryan Rust Makes Season Debut and Scores in Penguins Loss

Bryan Rust made his season debut for the Pittsburgh Penguins after being activated from injured reserve, missing the first three games. Returning to the lineup, Rust scored his first goal of the season during a 5-3 loss to the Washington Capitals. Teammates Tommy Novak and Nick Robertson also tallied markers in the defeat. Rust's return coincides with a roster shakeup that saw Filip Hallander traded to Edmonton for defenseman Spencer Stastney.
