Ben Rice Left On-Deck as Yankees Eliminated in ALDS Game 3

New York Yankees slugger Ben Rice was left waiting in the on-deck circle as the final out was recorded in a season-ending 4-3 ALDS Game 3 loss to Tampa Bay. Rice served as the team's primary offensive catalyst throughout the postseason, prompting manager Aaron Boone to adjust the lineup by placing Trent Grisham at leadoff to create base-running opportunities ahead of Rice. However, the strategy failed to yield results as New York was eliminated from the playoffs.
