Jrue Holiday Will Not Start in Trail Blazers Preseason Opener

Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday will not start Wednesday's preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, Jason Quick reports. Although a career-long starter, Holiday is not guaranteed a starting role to begin the 2026-27 campaign. The Blazers instead opted for Damian Lillard, Ja Morant, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija, and Donovan Clingan in their opening exhibition unit.
