Nils Hoglander Shines Early for Nashville Predators After Trade

Nils Hoglander is off to a strong start with the Nashville Predators after being acquired earlier this summer for a 2029 third-round pick. After going scoreless in the season opener, the 25-year-old winger scored the game-winning goal against the Dallas Stars and netted two goals in an overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hoglander is aiming to regain his 2023-24 form with Vancouver, where he recorded a career-high 24 goals and 36 points before injuries slowed him in 2024-25.
