Jacob Fowler Recalled by Canadiens Following Sam Montembeault Injury

The Montreal Canadiens recalled goaltender Jacob Fowler from AHL Laval on Wednesday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports. Fowler's promotion comes after starting goaltender Sam Montembeault sustained an undisclosed injury during Wednesday's practice. The goaltender has posted an impressive 1.53 GAA and a .945 save percentage across three appearances with Laval this season. It remains uncertain who will start in Thursday's home contest against the Nashville Predators.
