Alex Bump Demoted To AHL Following Bunting Signing

The Philadelphia Flyers sent Alex Bump down to the AHL Lehigh Valley Phantoms following the signing of veteran winger Michael Bunting. Bump struggled with just four shots on goal in three games, saw a benching with 8:18 ice time in Game 2, and was a healthy scratch as Denver Barkey returned. The 22-year-old forward will now get valuable playing time in a top-line AHL role after posting 26 points in 36 games with the Phantoms last season.
