Dylan Larkin Shines in Red Wings Debut While Rejecting Flyers Trade Interest

Dylan Larkin posted a goal and an assist in a 5-3 season-debut win over Ottawa, turning fans' early boos into cheers after requesting a trade and losing his captaincy. Despite his strong performance and leading Detroit with 6:01 of power-play time, Larkin's trade request remains active. The Philadelphia Flyers have repeatedly checked in on the 30-year-old center, but Larkin has reportedly rejected Philly as a destination utilizing his full no-trade clause.
