Jake Haener Promoted Back to Giants 53-Man Roster

The New York Giants are signing quarterback Jake Haener back to their active 53-man roster from the practice squad, filling the spot opened by wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Haener previously spent time as the Saints' starting quarterback in 2024. He now becomes the Giants' primary backup while J.J. McCarthy gets up to speed, providing flexibility for the team to designate an emergency third quarterback.
