Odell Beckham Jr. Explains Jersey Number After Joining Vikings

Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. officially signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad after being released by the Giants on Sept. 29. Beckham will wear jersey No. 9, joking that he chose it because teammate Justin Jefferson got half his game from him. The 33-year-old three-time Pro Bowler cited coach Kevin O'Connell's interest as key to joining Minnesota, reuniting with Jefferson, whose older brother was Beckham's quarterback at LSU. Beckham could debut Sunday against the Saints.
