Cade Cavalli Inks Four-Year Extension After Breakout Season

Cade Cavalli agreed to a four-year contract extension through 2030 with a club option for 2031. After overcoming Tommy John surgery and early setbacks, the Nationals ace finished the year with a 3.02 ERA and 200 strikeouts across 169.2 innings. Cavalli added a lethal 87 mph sweeper and increased cutter usage to anchor Washington's rotation and earn a spot as a top-tier MLB starter.
