Darcy Kuemper Shines With 26 Saves in 2-1 Loss

Darcy Kuemper stopped 26 of 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers, delivering a strong bounce-back performance after giving up eight goals in the season opener. Despite his solid play and keeping Los Angeles within a goal until Matthew Tkachuk's late game-winner, the Kings failed to provide enough offense. Kuemper falls to 0-2 with a 5.11 GAA and .825 save percentage through his first two starts as he battles to reclaim the starting job.
