Mikhail Sergachev Exits With Injury After Reaching 300 Career Assists

Utah Mammoth defenseman Mikhail Sergachev left Tuesday's 5-3 win over New Jersey after taking a puck to the back of the helmet late in the second period, resulting in an upper-body injury. Prior to his exit, Sergachev recorded three assists—including his 300th career assist in his 634th NHL game—giving him six points over four appearances this season. If he misses time, Nick DeSimone and Dmitri Simashev could see increased roles on the blue line for Utah.
