Rashid Shaheed: Seattle Seahawks Add Running Back Dontae McMillian To Practice Squad

The Seattle Seahawks signed running back Dontae McMillian to their practice squad to bolster backfield depth following an injury to Jacardia Wright. McMillian, a Seattle native who previously played at Weber State alongside Rashid Shaheed before transferring to Eastern Michigan, rushed for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns in his 2025 senior season. He spent training camp with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted rookie before joining the Seahawks.
