Commanders Evaluate Jacory Croskey-Merritt Amid Rushing Inefficiencies

Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt is facing scrutiny after averaging less than four yards per carry over four games, with that number dropping below two over the last two outings. Despite high expectations for his fit in the outside zone scheme, his early struggles—coupled with efficient performances from Rachaad White and newly-added Austin Ekeler—raise questions about whether the team should pivot to higher carry counts elsewhere heading into Week 5.
