New England Patriots Release Linebacker Jose Ramirez From Active Roster

The New England Patriots waived linebacker Jose Ramirez from their 53-man roster as part of several Tuesday roster adjustments. Ramirez, 27, appeared in two games for New England after being promoted from the practice squad, recording one tackle across 30 total defensive and special teams snaps. His release opens up a roster spot as players become eligible to return from injury lists, while Ramirez hits the waiver wire and could potentially return to the practice squad.
