Sergio De Larrea Joins Dallas Mavericks as Rookie X-Factor

Acquired on draft night through a series of trades, 20-year-old Sergio De Larrea joins the Dallas Mavericks following two seasons with EuroLeague's Valencia. Standing 6’7”, the rookie point guard aims to carve out regular situational minutes on a crowded roster. After a strong Summer League and FIBA World Cup Qualifiers showing, the coaching staff is very confident in the Spaniard's shooting range, height, and fearless style as he pushes for an All-Rookie team spot.
