Darius Acuff Shines with 19 Points in Preseason Debut

Sacramento Kings rookie guard Darius Acuff notched 19 points, four assists, two rebounds, one steal, and one block across 27 minutes in a 127-103 preseason loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The No. 7 overall pick flashed explosive scoring by pouring in 17 first-half points on 8-of-17 shooting. Unfazed by full-court pressure, Acuff emphasized the need for defensive improvements after the Lakers shot 50% from the field and 45% from beyond the arc.
