Logan Stanley Impresses with Two Assists in Strong Islanders Start

New York Islanders defenseman Logan Stanley is making an immediate impact after signing a one-year, $1.5 million deal. Despite missing training camp and preseason, the 6-foot-7 blueliner recorded two assists, three blocked shots, and tied a team high with four hits during a 6-0 win over the New Jersey Devils in his second game with the club. Stanley previously played six seasons in Winnipeg before a 17-game stint in Buffalo last year.
