Ben Rice Drives Offense with Two Homers in Yankees' ALDS Game 2 Loss

New York Yankees infielder Ben Rice provided the sole offensive spark in ALDS Game 2 against the Tampa Bay Rays, launching two solo home runs in a 5-2 defeat. Rice broke open a scoring drought with a solo shot off Freddy Peralta in the fourth inning and added a second solo homer off Ian Seymour in the eighth. He also drew two walks, remaining a bright spot during an otherwise quiet offensive performance as the Yankees fell into a 2-0 series hole and face elimination.
