Spencer Jones Hits Catwalk Flyout During ALDS Game 2 at Trop

New York Yankees rookie outfielder Spencer Jones hit a towering flyball in the second inning of ALDS Game 2 that struck the B ring catwalk at Tropicana Field. The ball remained in play under ground rules and was caught by Tampa Bay Rays right fielder Victor Mesa Jr. for an out. The quirky dome features specific ground rules where hits striking the lower rings C or D are home runs, while upper rings A and B remain live in-play balls if catchable by fielders.
