Brian Branch Expected to Begin Practice Window After Achilles Injury

Detroit Lions Pro Bowl safety Brian Branch is expected to return to practice Wednesday, opening his 21-day evaluation window pending final medical confirmation. Branch has been rehabbing a torn Achilles suffered in December. While unlikely to play in Week 5 against Arizona, his impending return offers vital relief to a secondary that has suffered multiple long-term injuries at the position.
