Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Sitting Out Preseason Opener

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will not play in Tuesday's preseason opener against the New Orleans Pelicans. The absence is entirely non-injury-related and is part of the Thunder's strategic plan to carefully manage their primary rotation players throughout the five-game preseason slate. Gilgeous-Alexander will still travel with the team to Tulsa for the exhibition matchup.
