Jake Sanderson Out for Remainder of Road Trip With Lower-Body Injury

Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson will miss at least the next two games due to a lower-body injury and has already returned to Ottawa. While the injury is not as severe as initially feared, Sanderson will sit out the remainder of the team's season-opening road trip, beginning Monday against Boston. The 24-year-old blueliner logged only 4:29 of ice time in Saturday's 3-2 win over Toronto, and Cameron Crotty will replace him in the lineup against the Bruins.
