Shane Bowers Reunites With Ottawa Senators Organization on Professional Tryout

Nine years after being drafted 28th overall by Ottawa in 2017, Shane Bowers has reunited with the organization on a professional tryout with the AHL's Belleville Senators. The 27-year-old forward scored in his Belleville debut during a 5-2 loss to Hamilton. Bowers, whose rights were originally traded to Colorado in the massive Matt Duchene deal, is looking to jumpstart his career after spending most of his professional time in the AHL following limited NHL stints.
