Drew Waters Becomes Free Agent Among Six Minor Leaguers

Kansas City Royals outfielder Drew Waters has officially become one of six minor leaguers to elect free agency this offseason. Waters looks ahead to his next career chapter as organizations evaluate their minor league depth and roster configurations. The move gives the outfielder an opportunity to seek a new organization where he can carve out a more permanent role at the Major League level following his time within the Royals system during Spring Training and recent seasons.
